At Candesco Digital Ltd, we take our customers (and potential customers) data protection extremely seriously.  In particular we want you to know that we do not buy, sell or rent any of our customers or potential customers data at any time.  All data collected is used by us internally to enable us to provide you with quotations for and the provision of those services based upon the selections you make and/or the products/services you have purchased from us.

This privacy policy determines what, when and why we collect data from you, how we use the data that you give to us, the limited conditions we may have to disclose it and how we keep it safe. It also contains details of how you can find out what data we hold on you and how to remove that data should you wish us to.

Cookie Policy

Our web site uses cookies – small text files that are placed on your machine to help the site provide a better user experience. In general, cookies are used to retain user preferences, store information for things like shopping baskets, and provide anonymised tracking data to third party applications like Google Analytics. Our web site at specifically uses cookies to save information about your browsing habits for Google Analytics only.  We do not use cookies for any other purpose at this time, but if we do in the future then we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.

Google Analytics

When someone visits we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.


When you submit an enquiry to us through our web site, via email or over the telephone, the data is sent through to us which we then use to answer your enquiry.  When the enquiry is finished, after a short period of time, we delete your personal data and do not store your contact details unless you become a customer.   We use the information we receive from you for a few reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. At present, we do not store your data including email addresses in any mailing list software or CRM database.

CRM System

We do not operate a CRM system internally to track our customers data at present.  If this changes in the future then we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.


We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect and store online.

Hosted Web Applications including eQuality System & eCare System

We operate some hosted web applications for some clients, which track their customers data inside.  We use cookies in these applications to store information to help with the processing of this data and ease of use for our customers.  These web applications are hosted on secure web hosting platforms provided by third party suppliers that use a variety of security measures as outlined above to protect the input and handling of that data securely from third party interception.  All third party services are vetted.  We take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

As a Candesco customer our clients are the Data Controller in respect of personal data they store on any hosted application including eQuality System and eCare System. It is their responsibility to ensure compliance with the data protection law of their home country. Customers are advised to implement their own data protection privacy policy to cover their obligations and responsibilities.

Candesco Digital Ltd has no rights to any data that our customers choose to upload or store in any of our hosted applications. Candesco Digital Ltd will only access our customers data on request for the purpose of delivering the service or to assist with the resolution of technical support issues or other issues relating to the service delivered.

Personal data shared with Candesco through the use of any hosted application will be deleted upon termination or expiry of the contract. Candesco has a comprehensive, redundant backup policy. Personal data is not removed from archived backups.

Candesco may authorise a third party subcontractor to process the personal data on its behalf provided that the subcontractor’s contract with Candesco provides equivalent rights to the those set out in this policy.

Who We Share Your Data With

We do not share any customers data with any other third party organisations, except in two situations:

  1. In the act of purchasing third party services from third party suppliers for the purposes of facilitating the order and work request you are making. These services can be provided by multiple suppliers for each order and our suppliers are too numerous to list individually here and are not applicable to all customers.   1. Unless requested to do so for the purposes of abiding with the law here in the United Kingdom.

Under no other circumstances do we or would we ever share your details with another organisation.

Access To Your Personal Information

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to and we will return your email with the details that we hold on file for you within 45 days of receipt.

We reserve the right to charge the maximum fee payable for each subject request. If personal details are inaccurate, they can be amended upon request.

We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.
